TEHRAN: Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui presented his credentials to President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran. Following the credentials ceremony, the President and the Ambassador held a brief meeting.

President Pezeshkian described Pakistan as a brotherly country and a second home for all Iranians. He conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi.

The President recalled Pakistan's valuable efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States and noted that Pakistan had demonstrated a genuine commitment to peace. He expressed confidence that Pakistan-Iran relations would continue to strengthen in the years ahead.

Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui thanked President Pezeshkian for the warm welcome and conveyed the good wishes of Pakistan's leadership to the President and the people of Iran. He underscored the immense potential for further expanding bilateral cooperation across diverse fields. The Ambassador also reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to working closely with Iran for regional peace and security and for promoting unity among the Muslim Ummah.
