ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has denounced in the strongest terms the Israeli airstrikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, which left at least 21 people dead, including four journalists and a rescue worker.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan described the assault as “unconscionable and heinous,” stressing that the targeting of a medical facility, along with deliberate attacks on civilians and journalists, constitutes a blatant breach of international humanitarian and human rights law, as well as press freedom.

“Pakistan calls on the international community to hold Israel accountable for such war crimes and to adopt urgent and concrete measures to end its culture of impunity,” Khan emphasized.

In addition, Pakistan condemned Israeli military aggression against Syria, calling it a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law. Islamabad reaffirmed its unwavering support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and urged world powers to act decisively to stop Israel from destabilizing the wider region.

The statement reiterated Pakistan’s consistent stance that the ongoing Israeli campaign in Gaza represents systematic disregard for global norms and requires collective international action.
