KARACHI: The annual Project Exhibition at Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) emerged as a vibrant celebration of academic and technological innovation, featuring over 305 creative projects presented by students from 11 different departments. The event not only demonstrated the students’ academic excellence but also showcased their innovative thinking and passion for technology.
Projects were exhibited from a diverse range of departments, including Civil, Architecture, Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Software, CIT, and AI.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Deputy Director of NAVTTC, Mr. Abdul Qadeer Sohoo, who praised the students’ vision, stating, “If these young minds are continuously supported, they have the potential to lay the foundation for Pakistan’s technological advancement.”
Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, Chancellor of Sir Syed University and Chairman of the AIT Governing Body, emphasized that Aligarh Institute has always been committed to providing young individuals with creative opportunities. He noted that the institution consistently strives to deliver modern education along with platforms for students to bring their ideas to life.
The Director of STEVTA appreciated the students’ work and discussed employment prospects, stressing the importance of such academic initiatives in linking education with industry.
Principal of AIT, Mr. Shahid Jamil, stated that the institute hosts this exhibition annually to promote innovation and technical skills. He added that such events not only refine students' capabilities but also equip them to confidently meet future challenges.
