KARACHI: Greenwich University is set to host its 17th Convocation on January 17, 2026, at the prestigious Sindh Governor House in Karachi, Pakistan. The event, themed "Fasl-e-Gul" (Renewal, Hope, and Blossoming Potential), aims to rejuvenate Pakistan's positive image among youth. Over 500 graduates will receive degrees, with 25 outstanding students getting Gold Medals for academic excellence.

 

Chancellor Seema Mughal, in a press conference held on January 10, 2026, at Greenwich University, emphasized the university's commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and societal responsibility. She stated, "Our convocation is a celebration of our graduates' achievements and a testament to our institution's dedication to fostering equity, diversity, and societal responsibility. As we gather to mark this significant milestone, we acknowledge the hard work and perseverance of our students, faculty, and staff. Our university has consistently demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and community service. We are proud of our graduates, who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and values to make a positive impact in Pakistan and beyond. Our convocation theme, 'Fasl-e-Gul', reflects our vision to rejuvenate Pakistan's positive image among youth and inspire them to become agents of change."

Dr. Naveed Iqbal, Student Provost, highlighted the university's collaborations with quarter marketing strategies, leading to upcoming projects. He announced the launch of various facilities, including Paddle Up, coffee shop, AI Labs, burger shop, gymnasium, and tarbiah program. These initiatives aim to enhance student life and provide practical experiences.

 

The convocation will honor the parents of graduates, the graduates for their achievements, and the efforts of Greenwich Fraternity in nurturing Pakistani youth for societal betterment. With a focus on empowering youth and promoting academic excellence, Greenwich University's 17th Convocation promises to be a grand affair.
