KARACHI: Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, Acting on the directives of SSP District Central, Nazimabad Police carried out an effective operation against criminal elements, arresting multiple suspects involved in drug trafficking and gutka/mawa supply.
According to details, under the supervision of SHO Nazimabad Kamran Haider, police teams conducted targeted operations in various areas, during which suspects wanted under the Narcotics Act and involved in gutka/mawa selling were taken into custody.
The arrested suspects include Majid, Asif, Jahangir, and Aqeel, against whom cases have been registered under Section 4/8 (i).
Meanwhile, under the Narcotics Act, suspects arrested include Murtaza son of Hanif (Section 9(2)3), Talha son of Ibrahim, Ajmal Khan (Section 9(2)1), and Jamil son of Musa (Section 1(2)3). They have been taken into custody in drug-related cases, and further investigation has been initiated.
Police stated that during the operations, a large quantity of narcotics and prohibited substances was also recovered. Further investigations are underway to dismantle their network and supply chain completely.
Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan, SSP District Central, praised the police team for the successful operation and said that indiscriminate action against criminal elements in District Central will continue, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
Kamran Haider, SHO Nazimabad, stated that there is no room for criminal elements in the jurisdiction of Nazimabad Police Station, and operations against such elements will continue on a daily basis.
Local residents appreciated the police action, terming it a positive step toward restoring peace and maintaining law and order.
