Pakistan need 212 runs to secure a 3–0 clean sweep after dismissing Sri Lanka for 211 in the third and final One-Day International at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday. After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bowl first, and the decision proved effective as their bowlers maintained tight control throughout the innings.

Mohammad Wasim Jr led the attack with an impressive three-wicket haul, while Haris Rauf and debutant left-arm wrist-spinner Faisal Akram picked up two wickets each. Sri Lanka struggled to build meaningful partnerships, failing to put Pakistan under sustained pressure at any stage. The match is being played on the same pitch used for the series opener, raising expectations of another run-filled contest.

Having already secured the series, Pakistan made four changes to their lineup. Haseebullah Khan replaced Saim Ayub at the top of the order, while Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed were rested. Faheem Ashraf, Wasim Jr and Faisal Akram returned to the XI, giving Pakistan an opportunity to test their bench strength.

Sri Lanka also made four changes, with captain Charith Asalanka ruled out due to illness. Pavan Rathnayake, fast bowler Eshan Malinga and spinner Jeffrey Vandersay all came in for their first appearance of the series.

Pakistan XI: Fakhar Zaman, Haseebullah Khan (wk), Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shaheen Afridi (capt), Haris Rauf, Faisal Akram.

Sri Lanka XI: Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Kusal Mendis (wk, capt), Sadeera Samarawickrama, Pavan Rathnayake, Janith Liyanage, Kamindu Mendis, Maheesh Theekshana, Pramod Madushan, Eshan Malinga, Jeffrey Vandersay.
