ISLAMABAD: Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Chief Whip Senate, held a meeting with H.E. Ugo Ciarlatani, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, at his office today.
During the meeting, both sides discussed Pakistan-Italy bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The discussion focused on enhancing parliamentary exchanges and people-to-people contacts.
H.E. Ambassador highlighted that over 340,000 Pakistanis are living in Italy and contributing positively to the Italian society and economy. Senator Mandviwalla noted that there is great potential for skilled Pakistani professionals to explore further opportunities in Italy.
Both sides agreed that Pakistan and Italy enjoy longstanding and cordial relations, and reaffirmed their commitment to build on these ties in the years ahead to further deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest
