RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Commander of Defence Forces of Pakistan, on Monday reaffirmed that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are closely linked to Pakistan’s own security, highlighting the longstanding strategic partnership between the two nations.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Munir held a meeting in Abu Dhabi with Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly in security, investment, and economic collaboration.

The discussions also covered regional developments, with both sides emphasizing the importance of ongoing coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Munir expressed gratitude to the UAE government for its longstanding investments in Pakistan and continuous support for Pakistan’s economy and security. He underscored that these contributions reflect the deep-rooted historical ties between the two countries and commended the UAE leadership for its constructive role in advancing Pakistan’s economic and social development.
