KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday following a drop in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,300 to reach Rs452,963. Similarly, 10-gram gold decreased by Rs2,070 to settle at Rs387,615.
Earlier on Wednesday, gold had increased slightly by Rs100 per tola to Rs455,236. In global markets, gold fell by $23 to $4,305 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Silver prices also dropped locally by Rs144 per tola, reaching Rs7,359 amid weakening global demand.
