KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, reflecting gains in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs6,100, reaching Rs356,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,232, bringing the new rate to Rs305,300. This follows a significant jump on Monday, when the gold rate surged by Rs7,800 per tola, settling at Rs350,000. The rise in local prices was in line with the international market, where gold also experienced an increase. The global price reached $3,377 per ounce on Tuesday, marking a $61 gain during the day. This rate includes a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA. In addition to gold, silver also witnessed a price hike. The rate for silver per tola climbed by Rs57, reaching Rs3,482.
