KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, mirroring gains in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs900, reaching Rs336,100. The 10-gram gold rate also saw an increase of Rs772, settling at Rs288,151.
This rise comes after a significant drop on Thursday, when gold per tola fell by Rs6,700 to Rs335,200. Internationally, gold prices edged higher on Friday, with the global rate hitting $3,177 per ounce, including a $20 premium, marking a $9 increase from the previous day.
