This rise follows a Rs1,500 drop in the gold price per tola on Tuesday, when the rate had settled at Rs358,000. The fluctuation reflects the ongoing volatility in global precious metals trading.
Internationally, the gold rate climbed as well, reaching $3,366 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium. This marks a $13 gain from the previous day’s rate, as reported by the APGJSA.
Silver prices also experienced an upward trend. The rate per tola increased by Rs39, bringing it to Rs4,010. The 10-gram silver price rose by Rs33.45, now standing at Rs3,437.44.
The local bullion market continues to react to global economic signals, currency fluctuations, and investor sentiment regarding inflation and geopolitical tensions.
