Gold prices fall by Rs3,800/ tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan declined sharply on the opening day of the business week, with the price of one tola of 24-karat gold falling by Rs3,800 to Rs453,336.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,258, settling at Rs388,672.

Silver prices also recorded a decline in the domestic market. The price of one tola of silver dropped by Rs122 to Rs6,802.

The local market trend came despite an increase in international gold prices. In the global market, gold prices rose by $38 per ounce to $4,308.

The latest movement in domestic gold prices comes amid continued fluctuations in international bullion markets and changes in global economic conditions.
