In Karachi, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained a bullish trajectory, surging 1.39 percent on the first trading day of the week to achieve an unprecedented milestone by crossing the 53,500 level.
According to market analysis, the KSE-100 index witnessed a remarkable gain of 737 points, ultimately concluding at 53,860.36 points on Monday, marking a substantial 1.39 percent increase compared to the previous closing figure of 53,123.03 points on Friday.
Throughout the trading session, shares of 365 companies were actively traded. Notably, 253 companies registered positive gains, while 97 displayed negative trends, and 15 companies maintained their previous values.
The market's pinnacle for the day reached 53,938 points, while the lowest point dipped to 53,166 points.
