KARACHI: Silver prices in Pakistan saw a notable increase on Tuesday, continuing their upward momentum in line with strong international market trends.

According to market updates, the price of silver reached Rs. 9,903 per tola, reflecting growing investor interest and robust demand in local markets. The rate for 10 grams stood at Rs. 8,488, while per gram prices were recorded at Rs. 848.8.

Analysts attribute this rise to the metal’s close relationship with gold and its dual role as both a safe-haven investment and an essential industrial commodity. The current rally also mirrors the steady performance of gold, with 24-karat prices ranging between Rs. 523,000 and Rs. 540,000 in the domestic market.

The synchronized movement of gold and silver highlights sustained strength in the precious metals sector, driven by global economic uncertainty and increased buying activity.
