KARACHI: Silver prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable increase on Thursday, with the rate climbing to Rs. 11,502 per tola, reflecting continued momentum driven by international market trends and strong domestic demand.
According to market data, silver is currently priced at Rs. 9,859 per 10 grams and Rs. 985.9 per gram. The upward movement aligns with global spot silver activity and its consistent correlation with gold prices.
Traders note that silver is gaining attention as both a safe-haven investment and an essential industrial metal amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
The rise in silver rates comes as gold remains strong in the local market, with 24-karat gold trading above Rs. 528,000 per tola, highlighting the interconnected performance of precious metals during volatile market conditions.
