The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), via Tasnim News Agency, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that it involved a coordinated wave of missile and drone strikes. The assault reportedly utilized both solid and liquid fuel missiles and employed advanced tactics to penetrate Israel’s multi-layered air defense systems.
“So far, rocket strikes have been recorded in at least five locations, including Safad, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Beisan,” Tasnim reported. The report suggests the strikes were intended to overwhelm Israeli defenses through a combination of different launch systems and trajectories.
Israeli authorities have not issued an official response yet, and there are no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Tensions in the region have been escalating, and this latest strike marks a significant escalation in hostilities between Iran and Israel.
