The Quaid-e-Millat Quiz Competition 2025, organized by the Pakistan Quiz Society International, was held at Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi. The event commemorated the 74th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan (RA) and featured participation from 52 teams representing prestigious institutions across Pakistan, including Liaquat National University, Ziauddin University, Dow University, and Jinnah Sindh Medical University.
The students of Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), Hafsa Zohaib and Almeera Arshad from the First Year Architecture Program, showcased exceptional intelligence, confidence, and preparation, securing the second position among all participating teams.
The event was presided over by renowned author Dr. Muhammad Raza Kazmi, with distinguished guests including Mahfooz-un-Nabi Khan (Acting President, Liaquat Ali Khan Memorial Society), Prof. Dr. Salman Fareedi (Medical Director, Liaquat National Hospital), and Dr. Altaf Mukkati (Vice President, SZABIST).
Convener AIT Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim hailed the achievement as a reflection of the institute’s dedicated students and the tireless guidance of its faculty.
Principal Shahid Jamil remarked, that
"Hafsa Zohaib and Almeera Arshad have not only brought pride to AIT but have also upheld the true spirit of the Aligarh educational philosophy. The institute proudly announces special certificates and awards for these outstanding students.”
Coordinators of AIT’s DIIL Department and Guidance Center, Irshad Ahmed and Ms. Wasima Shameem, congratulated the students, stating that
"This success is a testament to AIT’s academic vision and structured mentorship. The determination and confidence our students demonstrated are truly commendable.”
Moreover, AIT’s Pakistan Quiz Team ‘B’, comprising Tajwar Mujahid and Anzila Sehr Khan (Biomedical Technology), also represented the institute with distinction.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards and certificates among the winning teams.
