LAHORE/SUKKUR: The Indus River at Sindh’s Guddu Barrage is experiencing a medium flood, with outflows rising above 350,000 cusecs, according to data from the Flood Forecasting Division updated at 6am.

Meanwhile, Punjab’s rivers continue to swell, with the Ravi at Balloki and the Sutlej at Ganda Singh Wala still in an “exceptionally high flood” state. As of 8am, outflows at Balloki were nearly 200,000 cusecs, while those at Ganda Singh Wala exceeded 300,000 cusecs. Officials described the situation at both points as “steady” but remain on high alert as floodwaters move downstream towards Sindh.
