Gold price rises by Rs.600 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Thursday, following gains in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs600 to reach Rs435,036.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs515, reaching Rs372,973.

The latest increase came after gold prices declined sharply on Wednesday. The price per tola had fallen by Rs3,100 to settle at Rs434,436.

In the international market, gold prices gained $6 per ounce to reach $4,125, supporting the upward trend in domestic rates.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver decreased by Rs120 per tola, settling at Rs6,368.

Market participants continue to monitor international gold prices and currency movements, which can influence precious metal rates in Pakistan.
