ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in Qalat district of Balochistan, killing four Indian-backed terrorists affiliated with Fitna al Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday. Acting on credible intelligence on December 27, 2025, security forces raided a terrorist hideout and engaged the militants in a heavy exchange of fire. All four operatives were neutralized, and a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered.

According to the ISPR, the terrorists were actively involved in several attacks and acts of sabotage in the area. Clearance and sanitization operations are continuing to eliminate any remaining threats and restore security. The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee, will continue with full resolve. Earlier, on December 26, security forces conducted a similar IBO in Panjgur district, eliminating four Indian-sponsored militants linked to Fitna al Khwarij.
