RAWALPINDI: Pakistan has officially announced the completion of its counter-offensive, Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, marking a significant development in recent hostilities with India. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military operation targeted multiple Indian military installations in response to what it described as “unprovoked aggression” by Indian forces.
The operation, conducted in phases on May 6 and May 10, was aimed at neutralizing key military threats and sending a “clear message of resolve and capability,” the ISPR stated. The armed forces reported precision strikes and coordinated responses during the engagements, which spanned across several sectors along the Line of Control (LoC).
The ISPR further revealed that the clashes from April 22 to May 10 have now been officially designated as the Battle of Truth (Marka-e-Haq). The military described it as a decisive defensive campaign that upheld Pakistan’s sovereignty and deterred further escalation.
