New leak alleges Indian intelligence link to Pahalgam attack

ISLAMABAD: Indian intelligence agency RAW has been exposed as the mastermind behind the deadly Pahalgam attack, according to confidential documents leaked through the messaging platform Telegram. The documents detail a false flag operation meticulously planned to blame Pakistan and manipulate regional and global narratives.

Sources confirm that the leaked documents provide damning evidence of RAW’s involvement in orchestrating the attack. The plan aimed to engineer an anti-Pakistan narrative, directing Indian media and digital platforms to accuse the ISI of responsibility — but only 36 hours after the incident. However, Indian media prematurely blamed Pakistan immediately after the attack, revealing inconsistencies that contributed to the exposure of the operation.

The document, titled "Psy Ops and Narrative Control", outlines RAW’s strategy to portray the attack as targeting non-Muslims and the Indian state, with media campaigns mobilized 36–48 hours in advance. The attack itself was reportedly staged to coincide with the diplomatic visit of U.S. Vice President JD Vance, aiming to generate international sympathy and shift global focus from Kashmir to so-called Islamic extremism.

RAW operatives were allegedly deployed under the guise of monitoring tourist movements in Anantnag. Within hours of the attack, AI-based systems were tasked with gathering fabricated witness statements, and staged, blurred video footage was to be used to support the false narrative. A network of over 200 social media accounts was set to amplify disinformation, using hashtags to generate anti-ISI sentiment.

Leaked instructions also indicate a plan to plant forged ISI documents near the attack site and link the operation to Pakistan through fabricated evidence. In case of exposure, a backup attack was planned in Shopian. RAW was advised to restrict cross-border activity to 1.2 km to avoid international mediation by the UN or China.

Contingency measures included activating "TANGO-ECHO" if neutral states resisted the narrative. Surveillance of Chinese investments, particularly CPEC and Gwadar, was also outlined as part of a broader strategy.

Defence analysts assert that the leaked documents confirm the Pahalgam incident was a deliberate false flag, exposing India’s repeated use of civilian-targeted attacks for political gain. Similar operations in the past reflect a longstanding policy under the Modi-led government, further straining regional peace efforts.

The Indian government is reportedly investigating the source of the leak, which some insiders suggest may stem from anti-Hindutva elements within RAW itself.
