Renowned Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi is all set to grace screens this Ramzan with Hum TV’s upcoming drama Dekh Zara Pyar Se, alongside popular actor Hamza Sohail. The show’s original soundtrack (OST), titled Qurbaniyaan, has been released and is sung by celebrated singer Asim Azhar.
Yumna Zaidi, known for her powerful performances over a career spanning nearly fifteen years, began with dramas like Thakan and Dil Muhallay Ki Haweli. She later earned widespread acclaim for hit projects including Zara Yaad Kar, Pyar Ke Sadqay, Parizaad, Bakhtawar, Tere Bin, and Qarz-e-Jaan. Her co-star Hamza Sohail has also gained recognition for his roles in Fairy Tale, Raqeeb Se, Sirf Tum, and Burns Road Ke Romeo & Juliet.
Written by Saima Akram Chaudhary, directed by Ali Hassan, and produced by Momina Duraid, Dekh Zara Pyar Se follows the traditional Ramzan romantic-comedy format. Veteran actress Bushra Ansari is also part of the cast.
The OST video showcases key moments from the drama and has been warmly received by fans. Asim Azhar, who is currently being praised for his OST Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, has once again impressed listeners with his soulful vocals in Qurbaniyaan.
