LAHORE: Former Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim has confirmed that he and his wife, Sania Ashfaq, have officially divorced.
Announcing the separation on Instagram, Imad stated that the decision came after careful consideration due to persistent differences and unresolved issues over the past few years. He requested fans and the public to respect their privacy, refrain from sharing old photos, and no longer refer to Sania as his wife. Imad also warned that legal action would be taken against anyone spreading negative or false comments regarding personal matters. He emphasized his commitment to his children, assuring that he will remain fully responsible for their care and well-being.
The couple, who married in August 2019, have three children together. Earlier in July 2025, media reports had linked Imad Wasim with a woman named Naila, though no further details were confirmed.
