ISLAMABAD:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has officially announced that the Income Tax Return Filing Portal for Tax Year 2025 will open on July 15, 2025. From this date, all taxpayers will be able to submit their annual income tax returns.
According to FBR, the last date for filing is September 30, unless the government extends the deadline.
This year, a new verification process has been introduced. Instead of a traditional PIN, a verification code will be sent to the taxpayer’s registered mobile number to complete the filing process.
The FBR has advised taxpayers to file early to avoid technical glitches and online congestion as the deadline approaches.
