Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Tariq Masood, known for his powerful and relatable religious speeches, recently shared a heartfelt story involving Pakistani actress Humaima Malick. In a viral clip circulating on TikTok, Mufti Tariq Masood revealed that he received a phone call from the actress following his strong criticism of a controversial dialogue from her 2011 film Bol.

Referring to the scene, Mufti Tariq Masood said, “The actress delivered a line in the film: ‘Jab khila nahi sakte to paida kyun karte ho?’ (‘Why do you give birth to children when you can’t feed them?’). I had responded harshly to that message in one of my speeches, as it conflicted with Islamic teachings.”

According to the scholar, Humaima Malick later contacted him and shared that she was deeply moved and brought to tears after watching his clip. “She repented to Allah and asked for forgiveness,” Mufti Tariq said. He further mentioned that Humaima’s mother also spoke to him, acknowledging that the dialogues were inappropriate and influenced by an NGO-driven narrative, not the actress’s personal views.

“Despite being an actress, she admitted her mistake. That shows the heart of a true Muslim—one that is soft and open to correction,” he added.

Mufti Tariq Masood’s influence continues to reach beyond traditional audiences, touching lives across social and professional boundaries. His clip with this revelation has resonated widely, becoming a source of discussion and reflection across social media platforms
