GAZA: The Israeli military now controls approximately 77 percent of the Gaza Strip’s total geographical area, according to a statement from the Gaza Government Media Office quoted by Al Jazeera. The statement accuses Israel of continuing a policy of ethnic cleansing through military occupation and aggressive tactics in residential and civilian areas.
The office explained that this control is enforced through direct ground incursions and the deployment of Israeli forces inside civilian neighborhoods. Heavy fire control and strict movement restrictions prevent Palestinian residents from accessing their homes, lands, and properties. The statement also condemned the use of forced eviction policies that displace Palestinian families.
“The continued genocide, ethnic cleansing, colonialism, aggression, and occupation control over the vast majority of the Gaza Strip reflects an Israeli political will to impose a ‘final solution’ by force,” the Government Media Office said. It emphasized that these actions flagrantly violate international laws and norms.
The Gaza Government Media Office described the situation as a severe humanitarian crisis driven by what it calls “Israeli expansionism” aimed at completely subjugating the Palestinian population in Gaza.
