Mahira Khan, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated and internationally recognized actors, recently shared career advice for fellow superstar Humayun Saeed during a television appearance.
Known for her powerful performances in dramas such as Humsafar, Shehr-e-Zaat, Sadqay Tumhare, and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, Mahira has also made her mark in films including The Legend of Maula Jatt and Superstar. She is currently promoting her upcoming action-comedy film Aag Lagay Basti Mein, produced by Big Bang Entertainment, in which Fahad Mustafa stars alongside her and also serves as producer.
During her appearance on Hasna Mana Hai, Mahira was asked what advice she would give to Humayun Saeed. In response, she said she would love to see him take on negative or villainous roles.
“I think Humayun needs to do negative roles now. I would really enjoy watching him play a villain or an action-driven character like Noori Nath, where he can present a completely different side of himself,” she remarked, adding that he has the potential to excel in such roles.
Fahad Mustafa also shared his thoughts during the show, saying he enjoys performing action sequences but highlighted the lack of adequate facilities in Pakistan for executing large-scale action scenes. He revealed that he recently fractured his finger while filming an action sequence for Aag Lagay Basti Mein.
The conversation offered fans an interesting glimpse into the actors’ perspectives on evolving roles and the challenges of producing action films in Pakistan.
