KARACHI: Fresh controversy has emerged in the ongoing Anmol Pinky drug case after media reports claimed that the name of Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt surfaced during the investigation into the alleged narcotics network operated by Anmol alias “Pinky.”
According to reports circulating in Pakistani media, investigators questioned Anmol Pinky regarding alleged links between her network and individuals associated with the entertainment industry. During the interrogation process, several names from showbiz circles were reportedly mentioned, including actor Muneeb Butt.
However, officials have not issued any formal statement confirming the involvement of the actor in the Karachi drug case. Sources familiar with the investigation stated that the claims currently remain unverified and are part of an ongoing inquiry being conducted by law enforcement agencies.
The alleged cocaine dealer earlier claimed during questioning that her narcotics network had hundreds of clients, including people connected to Pakistan’s film, drama, and political sectors.
