Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that a recommendation would be made to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to present the Federal Budget 2026-27 on Wednesday, June 10. The upcoming Pakistan budget is expected to outline the government's economic roadmap for the next fiscal year, with special attention on revenue generation, inflation management, infrastructure development, and investment promotion. Policymakers are also working on measures to support economic stability while maintaining financial discipline.

The meeting examined various proposals related to development projects, social protection programmes, and economic reforms. Officials discussed ways to improve resource allocation and accelerate growth in key sectors of the economy.
