ISLAMABAD: Today Pakistan strongly condemned the latest wave of Israeli attacks across Gaza, which have reportedly killed multiple Palestinian civilians — including women and children — and left many others injured.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad said the assaults represent a blatant violation of international law, UN Security Council resolutions, and the recently concluded Sharm el-Sheikh peace agreement. It warned that such actions jeopardise international efforts aimed at securing long-term peace and stability in the Middle East.
The Foreign Office emphasised that Israel’s continued military operations and recurring violations against Palestinians are undermining the fragile ceasefire understandings and worsening the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
Reiterating Pakistan’s demand for accountability, the statement urged the international community to act swiftly to end Israeli impunity, stop ceasefire violations, and ensure adherence to international human rights and humanitarian law. It stressed that global inaction would only prolong civilian suffering and fuel instability in the region.
Pakistan reaffirmed its historical and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, reiterating its position in favour of a sovereign, independent and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The Foreign Office issued the statement from Islamabad on November 23, 2025.
