ISLAMABAD: The flight schedule for Hajj 2026 has been finalized, offering clarity to thousands of intending pilgrims across Pakistan.
According to officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the first Hajj flight will depart from Karachi on April 18. On the opening day, additional flights will also leave from Lahore, Sialkot and Multan. Pilgrims are expected to receive their individual flight details in the coming week.
Under the government Hajj scheme, a total of 119,000 pilgrims will travel from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. This includes 67,230 men and 51,846 women. Overall, 468 flights have been arranged to transport pilgrims during the pre-Hajj operation.
Officials confirmed that four flights on the first day will carry pilgrims to Medina. Flights to Jeddah will commence from May 4, while the final Hajj flight from Pakistan is scheduled to depart on May 21. The pre-Hajj flight operation will span 34 days.
During the first 15 days, all flights will be directed to Medina. In total, 186 flights are allocated for Medina and 282 for Jeddah.
Hajj flights will operate from eight cities across the country. Islamabad will handle 129 flights, Karachi 124, and Lahore 104. Quetta will operate 18 flights, Multan 34, and Sialkot 26. Meanwhile, Faisalabad and Sukkur will manage 23 and five flights, respectively.
