Q: How do you feel about representing Pakistan at the Miss World pageant?
Anniqa Meraj:
"I am incredibly excited and deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the Miss World pageant. It is a great honour to become the first-ever Miss World Pakistan 2026. Over the years, I have proudly represented Pakistan at several international pageants, including Miss Global, Miss Cosmo, and Miss Earth. After four years of dedication and hard work, I am thrilled to take this historic step onto the Miss World stage."

Q: You currently live in Denmark. Why did you choose to represent Pakistan?
Anniqa Meraj:
"Although I live in Denmark, Pakistan is my home and an important part of my identity. I am a Pakistani citizen, and I am proud of my roots. Representing Pakistan on an international platform allows me to celebrate my heritage, culture, and the values that have shaped me. It is an honour to carry my country's flag on the global stage."
Q: Could you tell us about your academic background?
Anniqa Meraj:
"Certainly. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from a Danish university. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Auditing and Accounting. Education has always been a priority for me, and I believe it has equipped me with the confidence, discipline, and knowledge to represent Pakistan with pride."
Q: What is your main goal in the Miss World competition?
Anniqa Meraj:
"My biggest goal is to proudly showcase Pakistan's rich culture and heritage. I am especially excited about presenting my national costume, which is inspired by one of Pakistan's iconic monuments. My team and I have worked tirelessly to create a costume that truly reflects the beauty, history, and identity of Pakistan. I will also proudly wear the traditional shalwar kameez to highlight the elegance and cultural richness of Pakistani attire before a global audience."
