ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari presided over a high-level consultative meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday to address Pakistan’s pressing economic and energy challenges. The session aimed to review the national situation amidst global oil supply constraints and the continuous rise in petroleum prices. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also participated alongside federal ministers from the finance, energy, interior, and economic affairs sectors.
