MADINAH: To provide enhanced care for the guests of Allah during Hajj 2025, Saudi Arabia has inaugurated a dedicated dialysis section for pilgrims with kidney disease at the King Fahad Kidney Center (KFKC) in Madinah.
The Madinah Health Cluster has established this specialized unit to ensure that pilgrims receive top-quality medical treatment tailored to their schedules and movement during the pilgrimage. This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive efforts to offer integrated healthcare services, enabling pilgrims to perform their religious rites in good health.
Equipped with 13 advanced dialysis machines, the center can conduct more than 26 dialysis sessions daily. A team of skilled medical professionals oversees patient care, prioritizing safety and efficiency throughout the Hajj period.
Prior coordination with medical missions accompanying pilgrims has allowed the health cluster to receive detailed medical reports on each patient’s condition. This preparation facilitates the scheduling of dialysis treatments immediately upon the pilgrims’ arrival in Madinah, reducing waiting times and easing transportation challenges.
This dedicated dialysis section reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of pilgrims, ensuring they have access to essential medical care during their spiritual journey.
