Some fans commented that Babar wouldn't propose to someone like Nazish and suggested that he deserves a better match. Others implied that Babar would prefer a more devout wife than Nazish.
In response to the criticism, Nazish changed her Instagram account to avoid further backlash. Later, a fake screenshot circulated on social media, purportedly showing Nazish harshly criticizing those trolling her for declining Babar's supposed proposal.
Nazish clarified that the screenshot was fabricated and expressed disappointment at the behavior of the trolls. She emphasized that she respects Babar and feels sorry for those who resort to such behavior.
Despite facing trolling and abuse, Nazish maintained her stance and refrained from engaging in further controversy.
