Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have confirmed they are set to welcome their first child, ending months of speculation surrounding the actress’s pregnancy.
The couple, who married in December 2021 at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday. Kaif posted a black-and-white polaroid photograph showing her gently holding her baby bump while standing beside Vicky. In the caption, she wrote: “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
The intimate photo quickly went viral, drawing love from both fans and celebrities. Actress Sonam Kapoor dropped red-heart emojis, while fans filled the comments section with congratulatory messages. One follower wrote, “Prettiest mom-to-be, can’t wait to see the little angel.”
Indian media reports suggest the baby is expected between October and November. Some outlets have also speculated that Katrina may take a career break after childbirth, though neither she nor her team has confirmed this.
