The event, which celebrates creative excellence, has occasionally faced scrutiny over its merit-based selections, but it continues to honor notable achievements in the entertainment and fashion industries every year.
In the film category, the night saw Kattar Karachi crowned as Film of the Year, while Umair Nasir Ali won Best Film Director for Nayab. The award for Film Actress of the Year went to Yumna Zaidi for her outstanding performance in Nayab, and Samar Jafri took home the Film Actor of the Year award for Na Baligh Afraad. While some winners were anticipated, a few surprises kept audiences talking on social media throughout the evening.
Television remained a dominant focus of the awards, with Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum winning the Viewer’s Choice for Drama of the Year. The Critic’s Choice Ensemble Cast award went to Zard Patton Ka Bunn, while Khaie was awarded Best Drama – Critic’s Choice. The Best Long Serial – Viewer’s Choice title was given to Baby Baji Ki Bahuein. On the acting front, Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa earned Best Actor Female and Best Actor Male awards, respectively, for their performances in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. The on-screen pair of Fahad Mustafa and Hania Aamir also won Best On-Screen Couple, further cementing the drama’s popularity. Emerging talent was recognized with Khushhal Khan winning the Emerging Talent of the Year award for Duiyapur, while Mustafa Afridi and Saif e Hassan were honored as Best Writer and Best Director – Critic’s Choice, respectively, for Zard Patton Ka Bunn.
Music awards highlighted the hit song Jhol as Song of the Year, reflecting the industry’s growing appreciation for fresh talent and creativity. In fashion, the prestigious jury recognition award was given to HSY, while Yasser Dar won Best Model of the Year.
The digital segment also received significant attention, with Rehan Nazim and Rabya Kulsoom (Ron & Coco) named Content Creators of the Year. Aidah Sheikh won the Digital Content Creator Award, Erica Robbins was recognized as Digital Trendsetter, and Hira Faisal earned Beauty Influencer of the Year.
