Pakistan Railways expects a high volume of travelers during Eidul Adha, which is likely to fall on Saturday, June 7, 2025, as per early forecasts. The special trains are part of a broader initiative to reduce travel pressure and ensure safety and comfort during the holiday period.
Eidul Adha, a major Islamic festival, marks the spiritual legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.), who demonstrated his devotion through his willingness to sacrifice his son. The occasion is observed through Qurbani (sacrifice) and sharing meat with family, neighbors, and the underprivileged—emphasizing unity, compassion, and gratitude.
With families eager to reunite and celebrate, these Eid special trains are expected to provide much-needed relief to commuters.
