QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has accused India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), of funding and directing a terrorist network named “Fitna al Hindustan” to undermine Pakistan’s security and stability, particularly in Balochistan.
Speaking at a high-level press conference in Quetta alongside Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and Chief Secretary Balochistan, Bugti alleged that RAW is actively involved in supporting terrorism across Pakistan. He emphasized that the group in question has no link to the Baloch people or the province, describing it as a foreign-sponsored terrorist entity.
To substantiate the claims, audio recordings were presented during the briefing, purportedly capturing conversations between operatives of the group—identified as Shanbay and Rehman Gul—and their RAW handlers. The CM also showcased misleading Indian media reports, including fabricated news regarding Karachi Port, aimed at fueling tensions.
Bugti held “Fitna al Hindustan” responsible for a recent deadly attack in Khuzdar, stating the perpetrators operated under RAW’s guidance. He strongly condemned the violence, asserting that such acts are contrary to the values of the Baloch nation.
“India seeks to destabilize Pakistan’s economic progress through proxy warfare,” Bugti said, rejecting claims of enforced disappearances as disinformation. He affirmed that the state prioritizes political dialogue but warned that those who take up arms will face consequences.
Bugti concluded with a firm message: the state will confront and defeat every plot by Fitna al Hindustan to disrupt Pakistan’s peace.
