British high commission delegation meets energy Minister Nasir Shah

KARACHI: Minister of Energy, Development, and Planning of Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, met with a delegation from the British High Commission, led by Head of Development Ms. Jo Moir, at Ali House, Karachi. During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including investment in various sectors.

On this occasion, Nasir Hussain Shah informed the delegation that there are profitable investment opportunities available in development, agriculture, energy, and various other sectors. The province of Sindh is rich in highly attractive sectors for both domestic and foreign investors. Currently, both local and international investors are engaged in investments here without any fear or hesitation. This is largely due to the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the investment-friendly policies of the Sindh Government, as well as the special incentives and security provided by the government to investors.

 

The delegation praised the investor-friendly policies implemented by the Sindh Government under the directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Chief Minister Sindh, noting that whether an investor is local or foreign, they are primarily interested in secure and profitable investments. Thanks to the facilities provided by the Sindh Government, foreign investors are investing in Sindh without hesitation. The delegation appreciated the efforts of the Department of Energy, Development, and Planning of Sindh for the welfare of the people and the development of the province.

 

Minister of Energy Nasir Shah stated that if British investors are interested in the development, agriculture, and energy sectors, the Sindh Government will provide them with every possible cooperation and facility. The delegation included Senior Political Advisor to the Program as well as Noam Rosenbaum, Second Secretary at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi. On this occasion, Nasir Shah presented traditional Sindhi gifts to the members of the delegation.
