Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, has once again denounced the results of the recent general elections, citing widespread rigging and irregularities. Speaking at a public gathering in Karachi, he claimed that the assemblies were "sold," including the Sindh Assembly and the President House.

Demanding immediate re-elections to uphold the integrity of the democratic process, Maulana Fazlur Rehman labeled the recent elections as fake and deemed their results unacceptable. He emphasized the need for fresh elections to ensure that the voice of the people is heard and their mandate respected.

Additionally, Maulana Fazlur Rehman criticized the federal government's foreign policy, particularly its stance on Israel and Palestine, suggesting that Pakistan was being penalized for supporting Palestine and opposing Israel. He also mentioned efforts to improve relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, implying repercussions for such endeavors.

Asserting that governance in the country must adhere to the constitution, Maulana Fazlur Rehman emphasized the enduring nature of JUI-F's struggle, stating that it transcends individual timelines and will persist through future generations.

During the gathering, JUI-F leader Maulana Ghafoor Haidari underscored the party's commitment to safeguarding the constitution since 1973. He asserted that without the JUI-F's protection, the constitution would have suffered damage, particularly highlighting alleged massive rigging during the February 8, 2024, elections.
