KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the HSC Part II Pre-Engineering results 2026, with three students jointly securing the top position by scoring 1,006 marks out of 1,100.
Muhammad Saad Adil, son of Farhan Adil Rafi, and Abdullah Jamal, son of Jamal Nasir, both students of Adamjee Government Science College, secured the first position with 1,006 marks. Ayesha Rashid, daughter of Mohammad Rashid Naseer, of Bahria College (Karsaz), also achieved the same score. All three students secured an A1 grade.
BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the results and said the Pre-Engineering group witnessed a close competition among students for the leading positions this year.
Muhammad Ahmed Raza, son of Abdul Rehman and a student of Adamjee Government Science College, secured second position after obtaining 1,005 marks. He also achieved an A1 grade.
The third position was jointly secured by Hafiz Abdul Rafi Tariq of Delhi Government College and Anas Javed of Adamjee Government Science College. Both students scored 1,004 marks and obtained an A1 grade.
The results highlighted the strong performance of government colleges in Karachi, particularly Adamjee Government Science College. Four students from the institution featured among the top three positions in the Pre-Engineering group.
Speaking on the occasion, BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho praised the students for their performance and acknowledged the contribution of teachers and educational institutions.
He particularly highlighted the role of government colleges, saying their strong showing demonstrated the quality of education being provided in the public education system.
The chairman attributed the impressive results to the dedication of teachers, the efforts of students and the overall quality of academic preparation. He said the performance of government college students reflected the potential and strength of public-sector educational institutions.
The announcement of the Karachi Intermediate Pre-Engineering results 2026 provides students with an important milestone as they prepare for the next stage of their academic careers, particularly admission to engineering and other science-related programmes.
