Speaking on the occasion, the representative of Oman underscored the nation’s long-established foreign policy founded on positive neutrality, regional balance, constructive dialogue, and respect for international law. He reiterated Oman’s consistent call for wisdom, de-escalation, and peaceful settlement of disputes, while firmly opposing interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states.
He emphasized that solving the world’s current political, economic, and environmental challenges requires genuine global solidarity grounded in justice, cooperation, and adherence to international legal frameworks.

The ceremony also highlighted the long-standing and multifaceted friendship between Oman and Pakistan—two nations connected by shared faith, cultural affinities, and mutual respect. Progress on Oman Vision 2040
Under His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Oman continues to advance toward the goals of Oman Vision 2040—its comprehensive national roadmap for economic diversification and institutional modernization.

The event also spotlighted Oman’s major strides in environmental sustainability. The country aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and is investing robustly in green hydrogen, renewable energy, and conservation initiatives.
